Saturday Afternoon

This video was for my Film Production Final when I graduated in May 2024. Inspired by German filmmaker Lotte Reiniger's "The Adventures of Prince Achmed" I too created this stop-motion in the form of a silhouette style. Of all of these, this one is probably my favorite because of the work that went into it. I thought of the story, storyboarded it, enlisted the help of a few close members to create the cutouts. Once that was finished, I animated the figures and edited the end product. This is also the only one I constantly think about redoing and improving upon the original. Perhaps one day.
